People in Kampung have a very different daily lifestyle compare to people who live in the city. In this traditional malay house, the family has some plantations such as banana trees and serai. Both of these plants can provide them food and also financial beneficial. Besides, there is a large empty land outside the house. The younger adults or kids will usually spend their time playing "sepak takraw" (traditional Malay sport) on that empty land. Other than that, they also own a few bicycles. In Kampung, bicycles are commonly used as secondary transportation because of the less busy traffic and also because it is affordable.
