People in Kampung have a very different daily lifestyle compare to people who live in the city. In this traditional malay house, the family has some plantations such as banana trees and serai. Both of these plants can provide them food and also financial beneficial. Besides, there is a large empty land outside the house. The younger adults or kids will usually spend their time playing "sepak takraw" (traditional Malay sport) on that empty land. Other than that, they also own a few bicycles. In Kampung, bicycles are commonly used as secondary transportation because of the less busy traffic and also because it is affordable.

The residents in Dusun Tua go to Masjid Al -muttaqin which is the main key public building in Kampung Dusun Tua Batu 16 for worshiping everyday.
Families will spend most of their time at main house (rumah ibu). Normally, there will have at least one raised veranda (serambi) is attached to the house for seated work or relaxation, or where non-familiar visitors would be entertained, thus preserving the privacy of the interior.
Islamic calligraphy is the artistic practice of handwriting, calligraphy, and by extension, of bookmaking,in the lands sharing a common Islamic cultural heritage. They used it to represent God because they denied representing God with images.
In the traditional education of Muslim, the eldership of the family will teaching islamic education for their posterity. Example Al-Quran or the Jawa language.

Zakat is a charitable practice of all Muslims based on accumulated wealth.
The purpose of Zakat is to ease the economic hardship of the poor at the end of the fasting in the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The amount of Zakat paid by each individual depends on the wealth and assets possessed. The collection of Zakat is being made through decentralized and voluntary system where Muslims pay the Zakat based on worship and love of God. On the other hand, the recipients have to meet the following requirements :

1) Those who live in absolute poverty
2) The Zakat collectors
3) Those who are restrained and are unable to meet the basic needs
4) Non-Muslims who wish to convert to Islam
5) Children of the streets
